Emirates updated capacity on flights to the capital to meet increased demand. The A380 returns to the skies over Bangkok. Recently, Thailand reopened to vaccinated tourists from approved countries is led to strong demand. Around 10,000 arrivals is been registered at Suvarnabhumi every day according to reports.
In addition to Emirates’ other regular service, the A380 to Bangkok on a Boeing 777 aircraft, includes 5 weekly flights to the capital via Phuket. The carrier increases the frequency of these flights from December to fulfill the expectations of travelers in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Emirates plans to offer over 8,600 additional seats a week, which will increase subject to demand in the future.
Emirates brings back the Airbus A380, operated daily in order to add capacity and frequency to its services from 28th Nov. Flight EK372 departs Dubai at 09.30, coming down in Bangkok at 18.40. EK373 i.e. the returning flight departs Bangkok at 20.35, arrives in Dubai at 00.50 the following morning.
Thailand reopens on 1st Nov. with vaccinated travelers from 63 approved countries. Passengers need to take PCR-test within 72 hours of travel and again on arrival and have to stay at an SHA-accredited hotel until receiving a negative test result. The aircraft serves 25 cities on 6 continents.
