Emirates celebrated the introduction of its Premium Economy offering in Brazil by hosting an event at Guarulhos Airport, Terminal 3. Attendees were treated to a guided tour of the upgraded four-class A380 aircraft, exploring the enhanced interiors across all cabin classes. The exclusive Premium Economy experience, available on all daily flights between São Paulo and Dubai starting December 11, was a focal point of the tour.
Stephane Perard, Emirates’ Country Manager for Brazil and Argentina, expressed delight in bringing Premium Economy to Brazil since November. Emphasizing the airline’s commitment to providing travelers more options, Perard highlighted that Emirates is the sole carrier offering Premium Economy on direct flights between São Paulo and the Middle East.
João Pita, Chief Commercial Officer of Guarulhos International Airport, noted the significance of Premium Economy in markets with a strong corporate traveler segment, such as São Paulo. The introduction of Emirates’ Premium Economy in Brazil is expected to enhance the overall passenger experience.
Premium Economy was initially launched in São Paulo on November 19, marking the first destination in Emirates’ Latin American network to feature this class. Currently available on three of seven weekly flights, it will be offered on all daily flights between São Paulo and Dubai, commencing on December 11. Tokyo Narita, another popular destination for Brazilian travelers, will also include Premium Economy starting December 20.
On the four-class Emirates A380, the Premium Economy cabin, located at the front of the main deck, boasts 56 seats arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration. The cabin is designed with customer comfort in mind, offering ample seat pitch and width for both work and relaxation, along with convenient features like in-seat charging points and a side cocktail table. The Premium Economy experience is complemented by curated in-flight amenities, a creative menu, and an extensive selection of beverages. Emirates Premium Economy is available on flights EK 261 and EK 262 between Dubai and Brazil.
