Emirates’ Premium Economy offering has become one of the most anticipated travel products in the airline industry. Designed to provide a Business Class-like experience at a more accessible price, Premium Economy passengers will enjoy larger, more comfortable seats that offer generous recline, full leg and footrests, adjustable headrests, and in-seat charging points. The seats are crafted from high-quality leather, providing ample space and ultimate relaxation during long-haul flights.
Each seat is also equipped with a 13.3-inch personal TV screen, giving passengers access to Emirates’ world-class entertainment system, which includes the latest movies, TV shows, and music. For added comfort, Premium Economy passengers will receive plush pillows, blankets, and a complimentary amenity kit on select flights. Exclusive to Emirates Premium Economy, passengers will be treated to globally sourced sparkling wine, including the luxurious Chandon Vintage Brut 2017.

The retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft showcases Emirates’ dedication to providing a premium travel experience across all classes. The four-class configuration includes 260 Economy seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, 40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, and 8 luxurious First Class Suites. The new interiors boast modern design elements that reflect both comfort and elegance, including beautifully designed Ghaf Tree motifs and stylish wood finishes that elevate the overall ambiance of the aircraft.
The Business Class cabin has also undergone a redesign, offering passengers greater privacy and ease of movement. With the seats arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, Business Class passengers enjoy direct aisle access, which ensures maximum convenience and comfort. The seats are wrapped in champagne leather, complementing the chic design that is seen on Emirates’ latest A380 aircraft. This spacious arrangement is perfect for both relaxing and working, with ample space to stretch out or unwind during the flight.

Emirates’ commitment to delivering exceptional air travel experiences is reflected in its expansion of Premium Economy to major cities across the globe. Beirut will be the first city to benefit from this retrofitted aircraft, offering passengers travelling on the Dubai-Beirut route (EK953/954) a seamless and upgraded experience. Flight EK953 departs Dubai at 15:40 and arrives in Beirut at 17:00, while the return flight EK954 departs at 19:45, landing back in Dubai at 00:50. The addition of Premium Economy to this route ensures a consistent experience for passengers travelling to and from cities with large Lebanese diaspora communities such as Sydney, Melbourne, New York, Los Angeles, and Montreal.
Beijing, the fourth Chinese city to be served by Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777, will also benefit from this upgrade. The Dubai-Beijing route (EK306/307) will offer passengers on this long-haul journey a consistent Premium Economy experience with seamless connections to other popular destinations in Emirates’ global network. This includes key cities such as London Heathrow, New York JFK, São Paulo, and several cities in the Gulf region, including Kuwait, Riyadh, and Amman.
Emirates’ Premium Economy has already garnered glowing feedback for its unique blend of comfort and value. As air travel becomes more competitive, airlines are increasingly focusing on providing a premium experience for passengers at a price point that suits a broader audience. Premium Economy fills the gap between Economy and Business Class, offering luxury features without the steep cost of Business or First Class.
By introducing these updated aircraft on high-demand routes like Dubai-Beirut and Dubai-Beijing, Emirates is not only meeting the needs of discerning travellers but also setting a new standard for international air travel. The airline’s commitment to providing a superior customer experience is evident in every detail of the retrofitted Boeing 777, from the enhanced seating options to the upgraded amenities.
With these new routes and aircraft, Emirates is offering travellers an unparalleled flying experience in Premium Economy. To book your tickets, visit Emirates’ official website, use the Emirates App, or contact the Emirates customer service centre. WeChat Pay is also available for passengers in China for added convenience. Whether you’re travelling to Beirut or Beijing, Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777 with Premium Economy promises to deliver a level of comfort and service that will make every journey unforgettable.
