Emirates has opened a cutting-edge AED 3 million Crew Zone in Dubai, designed to enhance cabin crew wellbeing, training, and global travel service excellence.
Emirates has officially launched a state-of-the-art Crew Zone at its Dubai headquarters, as part of its ongoing recruitment efforts for world-class cabin crew. This dedicated space boasts a modern, open-plan design, offering a range of services available 24/7. It includes educational workshops, tech zones, beauty and wellness hubs, a lounge for relaxation, and other facilities specifically tailored to support cabin crew.
The Crew Zone, developed over nine months with an investment of AED 3 million, provides a welcoming environment for crew members to enjoy a coffee and snack while finishing inflight reports, seek advice from colleagues, attend both professional and personal development workshops, receive consultations at the Beauty Hub, and access other support services. It offers a convenient space for crew to unwind, recharge, and connect with peers.
With the capacity to accommodate up to 200 crew members at a time, the Crew Zone spans seven distinct areas and is located on the Ground Floor of the Emirates Group Headquarters in Dubai. It reflects Emirates’ commitment to the wellbeing and development of its crew, fostering a sense of community and encouraging professional growth.
Explore the Emirates Crew Zone:
- Emirates Crew Engagement Zone: This versatile area is designed to connect crew with the latest Emirates initiatives, product launches, and training sessions. Interactive screens and real-time calendars allow crew members to easily book workshops and events on their mobile phones. Activities range from health and fitness workshops to safety, security, and medical training. The zone also serves as a hub for tours and visits to other Emirates facilities, such as Emirates Flight Catering and Bustanica.
- Emirates One Device Hub: A key feature of Emirates’ One Device programme, this space provides support for the iPhones and iPad Airs issued to cabin crew. These devices are configured with custom Emirates apps to enhance both passenger service and the crew experience. The hub is staffed 24/7 to assist crew with device setup and troubleshooting.
- Emirates Crew Lounge: Designed for relaxation, the Crew Lounge offers comfortable seating where crew members can unwind, have a coffee, complete flight reports, or catch up with colleagues after their shifts.
- Emirates Facilities Distribution Service: This service provides a streamlined process for crew to pick up and drop off essential documents, such as visas and regulatory paperwork, as well as new devices. The counters are designed for efficiency and ease of use, ensuring smooth interactions.
- Emirates Crew Computer Zone: Featuring high-speed internet and individual workstations, this area is designed to support the crew’s digital needs, including personal flight bookings, document printing, and completing tasks.
- Emirates Crew Connect Services: Offering 24/7 support, this area ensures cabin crew can receive assistance with queries and operational support, either in person, by phone, or via email.
- Emirates Beauty Hub: Added to the Crew Zone in 2023, the Beauty Hub is open five days a week, offering an immersive experience for crew members. They can book personalized appointments to learn about makeup application, skincare, haircare, nutrition, and fitness, or attend free group masterclasses and events.
