The ERA General Assembly returns to Innsbruck, a regional city set against the magnificent Alps, for the first time in more than three decades.

This premier event offers a broad and varied agenda, from engaging conference sessions and an exciting exhibition environment to a glamorous awards evening and much more. Over 173 industry companies, including 45 airlines, are anticipated to attend.

Marco Pernetta, Managing Director of Innsbruck Airport stated that The Tyrol region plays a significant part in Austria’s tourism business, contributing an astounding gross value of almost €4.8 billion during the peak travel season of 2021–2022, placing it first in the nation for tourism earnings. He further adds, “In addition to mostly incoming tourist traffic, with around half a million passengers in the first quarter of a calendar year only, the airport represents an important destination for commercial and industrial enterprises, as well as congress tourism and the university sector; and we look forward to this week welcoming high-profile delegates from across the European aviation industry to our region.”

“In a time when industry collaboration is more important than ever, this industry event continues to reinforce the association’s ethos that the power of one collective voice, representing multiple businesses, to promote and protect one industry sector, is incredibly strong” said Montserrat Barriga, Director General, ERA. He said he was thrilled to welcome so many notable delegates this year to the stunning city of Innsbruck and was looking forward to seeing members enhance already successful business partnerships and forge fruitful new ones.
