The International Tennis Hall of Fame has introduced ‘Etched in History’, which is a digital exhibit including choices from its enormous assortment of tennis trophies. ‘Etched in History’ exhibits tennis’ exclusive association with its plentiful rewards, as the sport progressed from local club happenings in Europe and the US to the global stage of Grand Slams.
Presenting 68 trophies from the ITHF’s assortment of more than 1,000, the exhibition’s first collections are revealed together with the winners who lifted them, their storied accounts and particulars of foundation.
Guests to the show can find 360-degree photography, revolving the imagery for a cooperative viewing experience. Trophies are prearranged by era, dating from Newport’s initial stages as organizer of the U.S. National Lawn Tennis Championships, which is now US Open, to the familiar Grand Slam prizes at present.
‘Etched in History’ is the newest phase in the ITHF’s continuing determinations to digitize its widespread museum assortment for worldwide viewers.
