Etihad Airways introduces two exciting destinations and boosts flight frequency!

In a significant advancement for its global operations, Etihad Airways, the flagship carrier of the United Arab Emirates, has unveiled substantial enhancements to its summer itinerary.

This strategic expansion encompasses the introduction of new flight routes and an increase in the frequency of existing ones, solidifying Abu Dhabi’s stature as a pivotal hub for global connectivity and enriching travel opportunities.

Expanding its network, the airline will inaugurate flights to two highly desirable destinations: Commencing June 15th, Etihad will commence three seasonal weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Antalya (AYT), Turkey. Additionally, operations to Jaipur (JAI), India will commence on June 16th with four weekly flights.

Meanwhile, Jaipur, the lively capital of Rajasthan, India, is a city that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity. Dubbed the “Pink City” for its distinctive rose-tinted architecture, Jaipur boasts a rich cultural legacy highlighted by magnificent palaces like the Hawa Mahal and City Palace.

Beginning June 15th, Etihad is amplifying its service frequency to several key destinations:

The weekly flights to Thiruvananthapuram and Amman will surge by three each, reaching a total of 10 and 14, respectively. Additionally, there will be an increase of three more flights to Cairo, totaling 24, while Karachi will see a rise to 17, and Colombo to 20 weekly flights.

This latest expansion marks a remarkable 33 percent rise in Etihad’s total weekly flights, escalating from 635 last summer to 847 in 2024, and extending its reach from 65 to 75 destinations, significantly bolstering global connectivity.

Of particular note, the addition of Jaipur elevates Etihad’s total Indian gateways to 11. This expansion underscores Etihad’s dedication to the Indian market, further solidifying the cultural and economic bonds between India and the UAE.

The revised schedule and new routes are designed to enhance the travel experience for passengers, offering increased connectivity and a wider array of travel choices, along with access to the refined amenities and customer-centric services available at the newly inaugurated Terminal A at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport.
