Euroairlines, the Spanish airline, has recently become a member of the Multilateral Interline Traffic Agreement (MITA) under the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Although Euroairlines had been utilizing IATA services such as ICH-, ICCS, BSP, and CASS, it had not previously participated in a multilateral agreement with other airlines.
This new affiliation with MITA enables Euroairlines to seamlessly connect with over 300 other airlines. Through MITA, all member airlines adhere to a shared framework, encompassing rights and responsibilities, concerning passenger and baggage services. This collaborative approach fosters conditions for the joint development of routes among associated airlines.
“Entering MITA reinforces our commitment and commitment to air distribution and
connectivity between routes at a global level, thus achieving Euroairlines the highest
standards in air distribution. Entering MITA gives us new capabilities business together with
the greatest guarantees in the industry”, assures the CEO of Euroairlines, Antonio López
Lázaro. “We want our clients to be able to access the greatest number of possible options
without barriers and that, thanks to a wide variety of connections, reach their destinations
more directly,” adds the head of the Spanish company.
