Eurostar

In the wake of the introduction of its new brand, website, app, and loyalty program, Eurostar has innovatively revamped its employees’ uniforms by introducing contemporary accessories. These additions mark the initial phase for Eurostar staff to embrace the brand’s new identity, paving the way for the anticipated complete uniform overhaul in 2025.

In conjunction with the upgraded lanyards and name badges, Eurostar’s 2,100 uniformed personnel, stationed both on trains and at various locations, will now be adorned with ties and neckerchiefs in the brand’s fresh color palette—navy and plum—accentuated by the new logo. These unisex accessories seamlessly integrate with the existing staff uniforms, ensuring effortless coordination in both color and style. The objective is to foster uniformity among colleagues and heighten their visibility across all stations, aligning with the overarching theme of ‘Together we go further.’

A collaborative effort by employees, for employees, guided the development of these new accessories. Approximately 80 Eurostar ambassadors, representing diverse teams across stations in Brussels, Paris, Lille, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and London, actively participated in workshops over several months. Their insights, preferences, and concerns were carefully considered, leading to the selection of two color options—navy blue and plum—complemented by ‘The Spark,’ a vital element in Eurostar’s fresh identity and logo.

Emphasizing sustainability, Eurostar has taken steps to minimize its carbon footprint in the production of these accessories. The neckerchiefs were crafted in France, while the ties were manufactured in Italy. As part of a recycling initiative, Eurostar collaborated with a fashion school in London, donating old scarves for students to repurpose in designing new outfits. This commitment to sustainability reflects Eurostar’s holistic approach to environmental responsibility throughout its operations.
