Every Can Counts celebrates World Environment Day with International Recycling Tour 2023

Every Can Counts is launching the International Recycling Tour for its third edition, coinciding with World Environment Day.

This inspiring campaign will span 16 countries and 18 locations across Europe and Brazil. The tour aims to promote sustainable living and a circular economy by spreading the message “Drink cans recycle forever.” Ambassadors wearing eye-catching backpacks will engage with the public, encouraging on-the-spot can recycling.

Participating nations include Austria, Belgium, Brazil, the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Spain, and the United Kingdom. This year, the International Recycling Tour introduces #PixelCan pop-up installations, featuring pixelated murals made of 2,000 drink cans arranged in iconic locations. Visitors are invited to share their photos and videos of the #PixelCan on social media using the hashtag #IRT2023, spreading awareness and inspiring sustainable practices. The locations include Athens, Bari, Brasilia, Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest, Cluj-Napoca, Dublin, Graz, Kotor, London, Marseille, Seville, Prague, Utrecht, Vienna, Warsaw, and Zrenjanin.
