The Department of Tourism and Division of Festivals in the U.S. Virgin Islands has unveiled the artist lineup for the 72nd Annual St. Thomas Carnival Village.

This year, the Village will feature performances from renowned Caribbean artists including Shaggy, Patrice Roberts, Sizzla Kalonji, Kes, and Machel Montano. The festivities will commence with their performances on Monday, April 29, marking the start of six nights of free concerts at the Village.

“The anticipation around this year’s St. Thomas Carnival is at an all-time high, and the Village night performers reflect the continued influence and growth of our territory’s three carnivals,” exclaims USVI Department of Tourism Commissioner Joseph Boschulte.

Adam O, Rudy Live, Temisha, Karnage, Blind Earz, VIO International, and Spectrum Band will showcase the talent of the U.S. Virgin Islands as they take the spotlight on stage.

“Every year, our goal is to pay homage to the vast Virgin Islands and Caribbean culture that is at the cornerstone of these annual celebrations for natives and visitors alike,” added USVI Division of Festivals Director Ian Turnbull.

VAYB, a Haitian kompa band, and Chiquito Team Band, a Dominican salsa orchestra, will merge cultures through music, reflecting the varied musical tastes of Virgin Islands locals. Also gracing the village stage are debut acts TeeJay, Jada Kingdom, and Kollision Band, alongside returning favorites like Edwin Yearwood and Krosfyah, and Grandmasters.

In an exciting addition, the Division of Festivals will introduce its inaugural Kids Night Out Village Night, featuring activities such as the Toddlers Derby and Best Dressed Doll competitions, along with lively performances by TMK and OTB.
