Exciting news for travelers: Garuda Indonesia launches daily Jakarta-Doha flights

Garuda Indonesia, in collaboration with Qatar Airways, is thrilled to announce the commencement of its daily direct flights between Jakarta (CGK) and Doha (DOH) starting from April 4, 2024. Ticket sales for this new route will begin on February 6, 2024. Operating a modern Boeing B777-300 aircraft with 26 Business Class seats and 367 Economy Class seats, the daily flights signify the strong relationship between Indonesia and Qatar.

This new air link aims to strengthen economic cooperation between the two nations, benefiting not only the aviation and tourism sectors but also fostering increased trade and commercial ties. The daily connection meets the rising demand for direct flights between Jakarta and Doha, offering travelers more options. Additionally, it allows Garuda Indonesia’s customers access to Qatar Airways’ extensive network of over 170 destinations, spanning the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. This collaboration provides Qatar Airways’ passengers with enhanced travel choices to reach captivating destinations in Indonesia seamlessly.

This direct flight between Jakarta and Doha is also expected to attract Qatar tourists to explore other leading tourist destinations from Jakarta as the main gate to Indonesia’s exotic destinations.”

Presently, Qatar Airways operates three daily flights to Jakarta and Bali and has recently introduced three weekly flights to Medan. With the new Garuda flight and codeshare partnership, passengers can enjoy seamless connections across both networks.
