Spring Break travelers to Maui’s sunny shores are in for an enriching experience at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea. From March 10 to April 6, 2024, the resort unveils an array of new and expanded seasonal programs through the Four Seasons Maui Academy, celebrating the island’s vibrant culture and environment. Tailored for young adventurers aged 5 to 12, these activities foster a deep connection to Hawaii through immersive learning, marine exploration, culinary delights, and captivating storytelling under the stars. Among the highlights are sessions in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian Language), enchanting Hawaiian Star Stories, exciting Ocean Aloha adventures, interactive Chef’s Garden Club sessions, thrilling Maui Whale Watchers experiences, and more.
Moreover, from March 24 to April 6, 2024, the Resort introduces Camp Manitou, an adventure camp designed for kids aged 9 to 17. Led by experienced counselors, Camp Manitou offers pre-teens and teens a chance to embark on meaningful island explorations. Activities include excursions like the iconic Road to Hana, exclusive kids-only Hawaiian Star Stories with renowned navigator Kala Baybayan Tanaka, surfing escapades, scenic island hikes, and beyond. For families wanting to join in on the excitement, Camp Manitou also presents customizable family adventure days.

The Four Seasons Maui Academy and Camp Manitou complement the Resort’s inclusive Kids For All Seasons day camp and an extensive array of activities and amenities tailored for families throughout the year. Popular family pursuits include engaging in pickleball, participating in the Resort’s dynamic cultural events, and relishing quality time over a celestial dinner experience at the recently renovated Ferraro’s Restaurant & Bar.

NEW: ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi
Saturdays | 10:00 to 11:00 am
Led by “Uncle Koa” Mattos, Cultural Ambassador at Four Seasons Resort Maui, children immerse themselves in the Hawaiian language through interactive singing and play. This new initiative aims to foster a love for the language integral to Hawaiian culture while ensuring a fun and effective learning environment.
Ocean Aloha
Mondays | 10:00 to 11:00 am
Explore Maui’s rich marine life with hands-on sessions guided by a Maui Ocean Center Marine Naturalist. Activities include humpback whale education and an Ocean Explorer Live Touch Pool featuring sea stars, sea cucumbers, and sea urchins. Participants receive a special gift: “Hawai’i Sea Turtle Rescue,” a children’s book from Fabien Cousteau Ocean Expeditions, promoting ocean conservation.
Chef’s Garden Club
Tuesdays | 10:00 to 11:00 am
Embark on a seed-to-sip journey led by Executive Pastry Chef Alexandre Chersouly. Children discover the origins of food through planting seeds, harvesting produce, and meeting the Resort’s culinary team. Each session concludes with a complimentary treat, such as hand-picked citrus soda, showcasing the children’s harvest. *Chef’s Garden Club operates year-round.
Maui Whale Watchers

Join “Uncle Taylor” Fujimoto, Sustainability Manager at Four Seasons Resort Maui, for an exciting whale-watching adventure. Children learn about whale migratory patterns and paint pictures of these magnificent creatures while enjoying the warm waters of Maui.
Tide Pools Exploration
Thursdays | 10:00 to 11:00 am
Embark on a captivating journey along Wailea’s coastline to discover its vibrant tide pools. Led by knowledgeable guides, young guests encounter fascinating marine life, including opihi (Hawaiian shellfish) and Hawaiian green sea turtles if luck permits. *Tide Pools Exploration is available year-round.
Hawaiian Star Stories
Wednesdays | 8:00 to 8:30 pm
Gather under Maui’s starlit sky as Hawaiian navigator Kala Baybayan Tanaka shares captivating tales of Polynesian wayfinders. Families delve into the spiritual connection between voyagers, the Hawaiian Islands, and the environment, offering a unique cultural experience. *Recommended for children 8 and older. Must be accompanied by a guardian.
