Exclusive winter TSA precheck® enrollment event lands at Jackson Hole Airport

Jackson Hole Airport is set to host a TSA PreCheck® enrollment event in partnership with IDEMIA, an authorized provider for TSA PreCheck enrollment. The event will run from Monday, February 12th to Friday, February 16th at 1250 E. Airport Road, Jackson, WY 83001. Enrollments will be accepted between 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM daily. This opportunity is available for U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents.

The enrollment event will be held in the Airport’s breakroom and Room 111, situated at the south end of the baggage claim area near the exit for short-term parking. Access to these locations can be gained through the baggage claim area or near the short-term parking lot. To streamline the process, applicants are encouraged to complete their applications online beforehand for a quicker experience. Making an appointment is advised, although walk-ins are accepted, but may experience wait times. During in-person enrollment, applicants need to present proof of identity, citizenship, fingerprints, and a photo. IDEMIA offers TSA PreCheck enrollment for $78, granting approved travelers a five-year membership with the program. It’s important to note that Global Entry program enrollment will not be available at this event.

Following the in-person enrollment, most applicants typically receive their Known Traveler Number (KTN) within three to five days. Adding the KTN to flight reservations allows travelers to enjoy the benefits of TSA PreCheck.

TSA PreCheck was established in December 2011 to offer a smoother airport security experience for low-risk travelers. It’s an excellent option for those seeking to save time. Enrolled members are not required to remove shoes, laptops, 3-1-1 liquids, belts, or light jackets during screening. Additionally, they have access to dedicated TSA PreCheck screening lanes at more than 200 participating U.S. airports.

Ed Liebzeit, Airport Board President, expressed, “Based on the positive response from last summer’s enrollment, we have worked to arrange another sign-up opportunity for Jackson Hole residents. The Board is pleased to offer this local enrollment week again this winter. TSA PreCheck significantly eases the security screening process, especially at larger U.S. airports.”

For those unable to attend the Jackson Hole Airport enrollment event but interested in TSA PreCheck enrollment, completing the application online and scheduling an appointment at one of the 550+ enrollment centers nationwide is recommended.
