We’re thrilled to announce that this year, Katharine McPhee will grace our stage as the guest vocalist, performing alongside the Kansas City Symphony. McPhee rose to fame during Season 5 of AMERICAN IDOL in 2006 and has since captivated audiences worldwide through television, film, and Broadway. With chart-topping recordings across multiple genres, including pop, jazz, and adult contemporary, McPhee promises to deliver an unforgettable performance. Each year, the Symphony in the Flint Hills Signature Event brings together music, art, and the ecology of the Flint Hills at a new location. Gates open at 1 p.m., offering a variety of activities such as covered wagon rides, roping with the outriders, guided prairie walks, inspirational talks, and more. As the day progresses, the evening crescendos with a captivating performance by the Kansas City Symphony and Katharine McPhee, followed by the breathtaking backdrop of a Flint Hills sunset, powwow dancers, stargazing, and much more.

Annually, the Symphony in the Flint Hills Signature Event unites music, art, and the ecological wonders of the Flint Hills in a fresh venue. The primary sponsor of the event, BNSF Railway, is back this year to uphold their commitment and backing for the organization.

Early bird tickets cost $95 for adults plus taxes and fees, and $50 for children (12 and under) plus taxes and fees. From April 15 onwards, ticket rates will rise to $110 for adults and $50 for children, plus taxes and fees.
