Experience The Magic Of Giving As Sandals Foundation Delivers Toys To The Caribbean This Holiday Season

Published on December 21, 2025

Sandals toy drive

During the holidays, Sandals Foundation partnered with some major toy companies to make the holidays special for children across the Caribbean. Sandals Foundation and its partners (Spin Master, Jazwares, and The Toy Foundation) performed their largest toy drive to date, distributing 45,000 toys across 9 islands. From Jamaica to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, these toys are being handed out to ensure thousands of children are able to experience the holidays and feel the joy of the season.

These gifts bring children so much joy; in troubled times, it’s an uplift to Caribbean communities. For the last 10 years, The Sandals Foundation toy drive has been serving Caribbean communities, and even through COVID, the toy drives keep uplifting local communities.

A Monumental Toy Drive Across Nine Caribbean Islands

The Sandals Foundation’s Toy Drive has become one of the biggest humanitarian efforts in the Caribbean. With 45,000 toys donated, the humanitarian work, including the toy drive, is the biggest in the Foundation’s history. Industry partners, including Spin Master, Jazwares, and The Toy Foundation™, donate countless toys that are handpicked to put smiles on the faces of Caribbean children. Among the donations are toys that foster emotional bonding and creativity, and include Rubik’s cubes, kinetic sand, puzzles, games, and soft toys.

The toys are more than just gifts; they are gifts of hope and love. Across the 9 islands where Sandals and Beaches Resorts are located — Jamaica, Antigua, Saint Lucia, The Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, Grenada, Barbados, Curaçao, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines — they help prove that every single kid should have a moment of magic every holiday, no matter their situation.

Outreach for the Community and Holiday Toys for Kids

This toy drive and the planned activities around the toy distribution have been the most delightful part of the celebration of giving for this year’s drive. In Jamaica, for example, the Sandals Foundation and local partners’ toy deliveries to over 400 children took place in Whitehouse, Westmoreland. This community, still recovering from the forgiving closure of Melissa’s hurricane, was cozily closed from the community’s recovery activities, and diversion was provided to the community to use for distraction while the recovery activities were closed

Santa’s and the Sandals’ elves’ costumes danced, and the joy and delight spread. The Sandals Foundation, in association with Sesame Workshop, also added emotional nurturing therapy to create coping mechanisms for children impacted by the Hurricane using playful and physically integrating structures. Events heal children. The soft therapy provided closure to children emotionally, and the recovery construction was provided to children.

The Foundation’s Annual Tradition of Giving Back

The Sandals Foundation’s annual toy drive is one of the Foundation’s most loved traditions. The Foundation has impacted the lives of over 170,000 children in the Caribbean since the start of the drive over a decade ago. The toy drive aligns with the Foundation’s focus on education, community development, environmental sustainability, and cultural preservation.

The Sandals Foundation’s activities do not stop once the holiday season is over. The Foundation continues working to empower children, expand their educational opportunities, and advocate for the protection of the environment. However, the toy drive is an integral part of his work and continues to represent the joy and hope of the holiday season for children and families in need.

Collaborations with Industry Leaders

Collaborations with Toy Diversion Leaders really brought the Sandals Foundation’s toy drive to the next level, with the great contributions received from Spin Master, Jazwares, and The Toy Foundation. Each of these companies brought wonderful gifts to the table that help create and fulfill the goal of providing and spreading the joy of play and the promotion of creativity. Spin Master, the makers of Rubik’s Cube and the creators of the young child favorite, PAW Patrol, brought and donated toys that help build imagination and creative play. Soft toys, especially the popular and comfortable Squishmallows 10,000 donated by Jazwares, always delight and comfort children of all ages. Interlocking, building, and dinosaur toys are also a great addition to this collection from the philanthropic department of The Toy Association, known as The Toy Foundation. These also help support the foundation’s goal of helping creativity and diversity of play.

It really shows the world how these young aspiring helpers, teamed up from all around the are able to create a positive impact.

The Lasting Influence of the Toy Drive on Caribbean Communities

The toys themselves are not the only focus of the Sandals’ Foundation’s toy drive. Every year, this initiative helps strengthen community ties across the Caribbean, reminding youngsters they are loved and that they matter. This year’s toy drive helps islands like Jamaica, specifically the community of Whitehouse, that are still recovering from Hurricane Melissa.

“In every child, we need to give them the hope and the assurance that we see them, we value them, and we love them deeply. Holidays are about spreading that hope and reassurance.” During the holidays, this reflection of community spirit is seen across the Caribbean. Volunteer work from the Sandals Foundation Partners, along with the communities, demonstrates the spirit of the holiday. It keeps on giving and profoundly impacts the Caribbean community.

Celebrating the Spirit of the Sandals Foundation Toy Drive

Over the years, the Sandals Foundation Holiday Toy Drive has been so much more than just an event. It has been a celebration of community and the love and joy that holiday seasons bring. It is an opportunity to show the Caribbean the Foundation’s dedication to serving and supporting the Caribbean. Each year, the Foundation helps so many children experience the love and joy the holiday season brings. Each toy is a sign of hope and love, and reminds children of the power of dreams

The Sandals Foundation is dedicated to supporting Caribbean communities, and the toy drive is just the tip of the iceberg. This year’s drive is an absolute example of the power of partnerships and collaboration. The Sandals Foundation is dedicated to bringing more smiles, hope, and joy to the Caribbean Community and bringing more toy drives to the Caribbean Community in the coming years. The Sandals Foundation will keep the drives and joy coming.
