As various countries are lifting the COVID-19 restrictions, many people are considering to take a cruise vacation to get far away form the madding crowds. This will prove a blessing for the cruise industry that was struggling during the pandemic.

Shari Mereness owner of Seas Today Travels travel agency says that she herself has been on 7 cruises since the restrictions were lifted. cruising is making a strong comeback.Reports suggest that cruise bookings during the past four weeks are twice as strong as this time last year.

Debbie Haas, the Vice President of Travel of AAA-The Auto Club Group has said that people love cruises. There was a tremendous pent up demand, and now the people have confidence based on how the pandemic is fading and hearing the CDC, they are willing to go.

43% of Americans who plan to cruise in the future are satisfied with the cruise industry’s overall response to the pandemic. Since the return of cruises, the companies have implemented various safety protocols stringently.

Travel insurance, travel advisor or agent are being recommended to people,as it will help one to navigate everything and book with confidence for the next trip.
