The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board successfully raised awareness of its varied tourist attractions within the Scandinavian region’s travel industry. Initiating the campaign in Oslo, Norway, then moving to Stockholm, Sweden, and wrapping up in Helsinki, Finland, these promotional events served as crucial venues for interaction with travel agents, tour operators, media, and influencers looking for fresh travel destinations in India.
The delegation was led by Mr. Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary of Tourism & Culture for the Government of Madhya Pradesh and Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB), alongside Mr. Yuvraj Padole, Deputy Director for Events, Marketing & Films at MPTB, and other key figures. They showcased the state’s cultural depth, architectural marvels, natural reserves, and adventure options via multimedia shows and live discussions. This initiative provided detailed information on famous sites like Khajuraho, Kanha National Park, and the Satpura Range, while also introducing hidden gems across Madhya Pradesh’s varied terrains and heritage locations.
The events were further distinguished by the attendance of esteemed Indian ambassadors Dr. Acquino Vimal in Oslo, Mr. Tanmaya Lal in Stockholm, and Mr. Raveesh Kumar in Helsinki, underlining the significance of deepening India-Scandinavia tourism relations. Mr. Sheo Shekhar Shukla’s positive reception highlighted Madhya Pradesh Tourism’s pledge to promote eco-friendly tourism and position the state as a top choice for travelers. These roadshows demonstrated Madhya Pradesh Tourism’s commitment to building substantial relationships and increasing cooperation with important figures in the Scandinavian tourism sector, aiming to attract a broader audience of travelers in search of distinctive experiences.
