Roughly $250,000 per head trip that just went missing this week during the course of the oceanic break of the Titanic ocean liner is just a single instance of extreme tourism that is fast turning into an everyday affair for the ones who can pay for it.

From the tallest peaks of Earth to suborbital space, here are some other exploits that can be endeavored:

Between Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson and Elon Musk, the three billionaire entrepreneurs has encouraged the expansion of a promising astro-tourism sector.

The Virgin Galactic Holdings, Branson’s company last week stated that Galactic 01- its first commercial spaceflight, would be opened between June 27 and June 30, 2023. A backlog of 800 customers has been reported by the company for the roughly 90-minute up-and-back flights. Majority of these people have paid between $250,000 and $400,000 for their tickets.

When the first seat was sold since June 2021 for almost $28 million, the Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos’ space tourism company has already provided 10-minute flights of 350,000 feet altitude. Here passengers have experienced moments of fluffiness before coming back to Earth.

Already, a Japanese billionaire has bought all the seats on the maiden voyage of SpaceX Starship rocket of Musk, which is planned to spend three days rotating the moon and come within 200 kilometers of the lunar surface.
