Sun Country Airlines has announced an extension of its booking schedule, now available through December 10, 2024. This enables travelers to plan their fall trips, including Thanksgiving and Minnesota’s sought-after October 17-20 school break long weekend. Moreover, Sun Country has enhanced its flight schedules to various popular destinations, commencing later this summer.

Among the additions to Sun Country’s expanding network from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) are Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) in California and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) in New Hampshire.

“Sun Country proudly offers nonstop service from MSP to more than 100 destinations in 2024 giving our customers, and community an unparalleled breadth of destinations for a leisure airline,” said Grant Whitney, senior vice president and chief revenue officer.

In today’s announcement, Sun Country Airlines reveals plans to expand its operations, introducing 122 routes that will connect 108 airports across the United States, Mexico, Central America, Canada, and the Caribbean. The airline aims to offer safe, reliable, and hassle-free flights at affordable rates.

Launching on August 8, 2024, Monterey, situated on California’s stunning Central Coast, boasts a mild climate and provides access to attractions like picturesque Carmel-by-the-Sea, golfing at Pebble Beach, the renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium, whale watching, and local wineries.

On the eastern front, service to Manchester, New Hampshire, positioned just 55 miles north of Boston, will commence on the same date, offering travelers a taste of New England charm with its vibrant fall foliage and rich American history.

Sun Country is expanding its scheduled service to complement its charter operations. Commencing in March 2024, the airline will introduce limited service to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). This expansion aims to utilize flights typically designated for positioning charter aircraft to offer additional seating options for customers.

“Sun Country is proud of our diversified business model of scheduled service, charter, and cargo,” Whitney added. “Our unique ability to integrate our scheduled service and charter business is a differentiator that allows us to meet our customers’ needs while maximizing efficiency.”

The onboard experience with Sun Country features cutting-edge seating amenities, boasting full-size tray tables, cozy reclining options, and in-seat power available in most seats. Guests can enjoy complimentary in-flight entertainment on their personal devices along with free beverages such as water, coffee, tea, juices, and soda. For those seeking more options, additional beverages and snacks are available for purchase. We take pride in partnering with various Minnesota and Midwest-based companies to showcase their local products on our menu.
