FCM travel India appoints Shailendra Pandey as new CTO

FCM Travel India has strategically strengthened its technological capabilities by appointing Shailendra Pandey as the new Chief Technology Officer. With a rich background spanning 17 years in the technology sector, Pandey has served in various roles including Development Engineer, Solutions Manager, and most recently as the Director of Engineering for a billion-dollar company before joining FCM Travel India.

As an accomplished Software Engineer, Pandey aims to harmonize the company’s corporate technology product strategy with its business objectives, ensuring a seamless and value-driven experience for customers and users alike. His role assumes significant importance in aligning with the India leadership team and integrating broader technological strategies across Asia. Central to his responsibilities is the creation and execution of an automation roadmap, promising enhanced productivity and fortified data reliability.

Collaborating closely with FCM Asia’s Chief Technology Officers across Asia, Japan, and China, Pandey will spearhead the development and implementation of an automation roadmap to drive productivity while ensuring data reliability.

Abdel Abatouy, FCM Travel Asia’s Chief Technology and Information Officer, expressed confidence in Shailendra’s alignment with India’s technology and innovation, praising his leadership, technical proficiency, and forward-thinking approach that aligns with the ethos of a leading tech travel company.
