Fiji’s tourism industry is exceeding all expectations, setting the stage for another record-breaking year in 2024. The sector has grown by an impressive 6.5% compared to 2023, outpacing pre-pandemic figures and solidifying Fiji’s status as a premier destination in the South Pacific. This success is largely attributed to Tourism Fiji’s global brand campaign, Where Happiness Comes Naturally, and a rising demand for immersive, culturally rich travel experiences.

This campaign cleverly addresses the universal challenge of passport photos.The campaign brings to life two delightful personalities: Ana, a welcoming customs officer at Fiji’s primary airport, and Viliame, a spirited local photographer specializing in passport photos.. Together, they humorously showcase the “happy dilemma” travelers face in Fiji—finding it nearly impossible to keep a straight face in such a joyful environment. Their playful interactions capture the spirit of Fiji’s vibrant culture and its infectious happiness.

Filmed across stunning locations like Nadi and Wakaya Island, the campaign highlights Fiji’s natural beauty, rich culture, and diverse attractions through five key travel themes: Natural Environment, Adventurous Experiences, Community Connections, Recharge and Reconnect, and Food and Drink.
