First Wyndham registry collection in Jarabacoa, DR

FITUR – Alterra Village and Grupo De Valle have unveiled their plans to develop the inaugural Registry Collection hotels and residences. This momentous announcement was made during the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR), marking a significant milestone that will catapult Jarabacoa into global recognition as a premier destination. The official sales program will commence with 120 rooms, boasting price points starting in the mid-range, estimated at approximately $350,000. The property encompasses 2 and 3-bedroom residences and will be managed by Operadora Hotelera Dominicana while carrying the prestigious Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand – the world’s largest hotel chain, with a presence spanning over 9,000 hotels and 24 brands across 95 countries.

Within the picturesque landscapes of Jarabacoa, a serene and timeless retreat will be crafted, inspired by the rich heritage of the island. The project entails the construction of 36 environmentally conscious bungalows, thus constituting a total of 120 rooms, with future plans to expand room offerings in 2025. The property will house an exclusive restaurant serving local delicacies with a contemporary twist, alongside a bar and terrace that showcase breathtaking mountain vistas.
