In January 2024, Flair Airlines, the prominent low-cost carrier in Canada, achieved a remarkable 97.1% completion rate, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to operational efficiency and dependability. Out of 1,858 scheduled flights, 1,805 were executed successfully. With an impressive 87% load factor and serving 288,381 passengers, Flair remains dedicated to providing accessible air travel to all Canadians. The airline prioritizes affordability without compromising on the quality or reliability of its services.

“Even amidst severe winter weather, our team has maintained an impressive completion rate,”
said Stephen Jones, CEO of Flair Airlines. “Providing affordable fares isn’t just a business
strategy; it’s a reflection of our commitment to serving all Canadians. As we celebrate our
strong completion factor for January, we’re reminded of the vital role we play in making air
travel accessible to everyone. We understand the responsibility that comes with being Canada’s
ultra-low-cost carrier and will continually strive to improve our performance, ensuring that
every journey with Flair is not only affordable, but also reliable and hassle-free.”

Passenger Load and Travel Impact
In January, Flair Airlines served a total of 288,381 passengers, connecting destinations throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and the Caribbean. This continued effort underscores Flair’s dedication to linking communities and reshaping travel possibilities.

Flair achieved an impressive load factor of 87% for January, reflecting the percentage of seats sold to paying passengers across its network. This statistic reaffirms Flair’s commitment to enhancing affordability in air travel.

Completion Rate
Flair’s completion rate for January stood at 97.1%, indicating the proportion of scheduled flights that were successfully operated. Out of 1,858 flights planned, Flair successfully completed 1,805 flights.

On-Time Performance (OTP)
Flair’s on-time performance for January, which measures flights arriving within 15 minutes of their scheduled time, was 44.3%. This decrease can be largely attributed to severe winter weather conditions. Flair has taken proactive measures to enhance OTP, including expanding its team and collaborating closely with vendors to elevate service standards. Despite OTP falling below Flair’s target for January, the airline mitigated the impact of severe weather by deploying 30 recovery flights, aimed at minimizing disruptions and ensuring travelers’ journeys with minimal inconvenience.

Commitment to Transparency
Flair remains steadfast in its commitment to transparency. The airline introduced monthly operational metrics in April 2023, which are disseminated through various channels, providing passengers and partners with real-time insights into Flair’s performance.
