Sharjah Airport recently celebrated the inaugural flight of Fly Jinnah, a prominent low-cost airline in Pakistan formed through a partnership between Pakistan’s Lakson Group and the UAE’s Air Arabia Group. The arrival of this new airline was commemorated in a ceremony graced by notable dignitaries such as His Excellency Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Airport Authority; His Excellency Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, the Pakistani Ambassador to the UAE; Adel Al Ali, CEO of Air Arabia; and Iqbal Ali Lakhani, Chairman of Fly Jinnah, along with officials from the Airport Authority, Air Arabia, and Fly Jinnah. Fly Jinnah will operate two daily flights on the Islamabad-Sharjah route. This milestone aligns with Sharjah Airport’s objectives to enhance its services for partners and passengers, ensuring smooth operations and a diverse range of services for airlines and travelers.
