flydubai expands summer network with new flights to Antalya, Türkiye

Dubai-based airline flydubai has announced the expansion of its seasonal summer network with the launch of direct flights to Antalya, Türkiye, beginning June 5, 2025. This new daily service from Dubai International Airport (DXB), Terminal 2, brings the carrier’s Türkiye network to six destinations, providing travelers with more options to explore the Turkish Riviera.

With the addition of Antalya, flydubai’s seasonal summer network now includes 11 unique holiday destinations, including Bodrum, Trabzon, Mykonos, Santorini, Corfu, and Dubrovnik.

Strengthening UAE-Türkiye Air Connectivity

As part of UAE’s growing travel ties with Türkiye, flydubai’s expansion aligns with bilateral aviation agreements between the two nations, supported by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). The airline’s codeshare partnership with Emirates on this route further enhances connectivity, offering passengers more seamless travel options via Dubai International Airport, one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs.

Antalya: A Stunning Mediterranean Destination

Antalya, often referred to as the gateway to the Turkish Riviera, is one of Türkiye’s most sought-after summer destinations, known for its:
✔ Pristine Mediterranean beaches with turquoise waters
✔ Ancient ruins, including Hadrian’s Gate and the Roman Harbour
✔ Historic Old Town (Kaleiçi), featuring Ottoman-era architecture

Jeyhun Efendi, Divisional Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations and E-commerce at flydubai, emphasized the significance of this expansion:
“During the busy summer period, we will operate more than 50 flights a week to Türkiye, allowing passengers to explore the region’s stunning coastline and rich history.”

With the launch of Antalya flights, flydubai now operates to six Turkish destinations, including:
