Today, Southwest Airlines Co., celebrates annular solar eclipse by declaring flights services scheduled to start with direct and partial paths of the celestial event. For the 2024 eclipse, the path of totality will pass across many U.S. states where Southwest Airlines Co., functions including Indiana, Illinois, Arkansas, Kentucky, New York, Missouri, Ohio, and Texas, among several others.

The Chief Meteorologist at Southwest Airlines, David Dillahunt, said that today’s annular solar eclipse was an exhilarating opportunity to look into the total solar eclipse happening next year, and their Meteorology and Network Planning Teams recognized the ideal opportunities for a possible view of this wonderful view. With their scheduled flight services, they’re able to provide hundreds of seats in the sky to see the eclipse, and they expect with pleasure to highlighting their Hospitality on this day while observing the day with their customers.

Network and Schedule Planners demonstrated the operational day against projections of the umbra and penumbra shadows thrown by the eclipse of the moon on sun. The scheduled Southwest flights on April 8th, 2024, listed below have the highest chances of providing customers onboard the ideal view of this major happening.
