For rainfall affected people, former Legislator pays patient hearing

Vikram Randhawa, former Legislator and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader visited the areas affected by massive rainfall. Randhawa explored Amar Colony, Azad Nagar, Bhour Pind and adjacent places. Jasmeet Kour Pandey, councilor, Jammu Cantonment had accompanied the legislator.


Randhawa talked with people and heard about their grievances in his visit. To all the problems faced by the local, Randhawa gave a patient hearing.


He requested the officials of the UEED to remove the garbage from the nullahs immediately. He also directed them to take up the construction works of the nallahs to provide improved infrastructure to the public.


He explained that the Detailed Project Reports for the reinstatement of the harmed infrastructure due to flood and preventive measures for water logging caused due to nonstop rains have been sanctioned. Also, he mentioned that in the coming few days, works will be taken up. Randhawa after listening the grievances of the people, reassured them of early remedy after taking up the issues with the concerned department.


He also said that for the people, he is always available who were witnessing any kind of problem, mentioning that anyone can contact him anytime for their grievances.


On the occasion, Inder Khajuria, Pitambar Sharma, Davinder Singh, Ashok Kumar, Ujwal Singh and others were also present.
