In his determination to strategically make a pivotal edge in the administration of the umbrella body of all tourism associations in Nigeria, the National President of Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN), Mr Nkereuwem Onung, has elected a four-man advisor to make it a reality.

The four-man advisors are Andrew Okungbuwa, Intergovernmental/Special Duties; Wale Olapade, FTAN National Public Relations Officer, doubles as Special Adviser Media; Alex Nwuba, Special Adviser on Tourism and Travels and Justina Ovat, FTAN Vice  President, South-South, as Special Adviser on Hospitality and MICE.

The  appointments take immediate effect as the SAs have been directed to swing into action in their different capacity.

Speaking on the development, the FTAN boss, who was in high spirit on taking the federation to an enviable level, said, there is no time to waste as there are a lot of things to do with the shortest available time they have.

He added that the appointments are necessary to play a major role in giving FTAN a robust leverage in the present scheme of things.

FTAN has a new vision and dream, and we are trying by all standards to reinvent our practical commitment toward collaboration among the component associations under FTAN, Onung added.
