Four Seasons HK celebrates Chef Galliot’s 20-year culinary journey

Caprice, the renowned French restaurant boasting three Michelin stars at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, has unveiled an upcoming gastronomic extravaganza to celebrate Executive Chef Guillaume Galliot’s remarkable 20-year journey in Asia. Set to take place from January 17 to 20, 2024, this special event will see Chef Guillaume collaborating with a stellar lineup of 26 world-famous chefs, collectively holding more than 30 Michelin stars. Together, they will curate a series of four exquisite tasting menus that promise to be unforgettable. This culinary dream team will collaborate with Caprice’s resident talents, Chef de Cuisine Suveg Kavatkar and Pastry Chef Yann Riedmuller, to craft a dining experience beyond compare.

Chef Guillaume expresses his excitement and gratitude, saying, “I am both delighted and humbled to be joined by esteemed chefs from around the globe in celebrating this significant milestone of my culinary journey in Asia. They are cherished friends I’ve had the privilege of meeting along the way. Together, at Caprice, we commemorate friendship and share our culinary passions, inspiring each other to reach greater heights on this remarkable adventure.”

Throughout the four-night event, Chef Guillaume will team up with six different chefs each night to fashion unique tasting menus, available at a price of HKD 3,988* per person. These menus will be masterpieces showcasing the harmonious fusion of diverse culinary traditions and flavors, skillfully orchestrated by these top culinary talents.

Chef Guillaume’s culinary odyssey in Asia commenced in Singapore and subsequently took him to Beijing and Macau before his arrival at Caprice in Hong Kong in 2017. Caprice ascended to the pinnacle of three Michelin stars in the Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau 2019 and has maintained this prestigious status for five consecutive years. Guillaume Galliot unquestionably stands as a French culinary maestro, deeply rooted in the tradition of gastronomy. While he excels in classical French techniques, his true brilliance shines through in his ability to meld flavors from around the world, creating a symphony of tastes on each plate. At Caprice, Chef Guillaume infuses his visionary approach into French cuisine, where the essence of France harmonizes seamlessly with global culinary influences.
