In collaboration with Camp Manitou, one of the premier summer camps in the United States established in Maine in 1947, the Resort welcomes back this beloved program from March 11 – April 6 and July 1 – August 30, 2024, for its eighth consecutive year. Tailored for youths aged 9 to 17, Camp Manitou emphasizes group engagement in cultural, recreational, and exploratory activities both onsite and across Hawaii Island. Participants will enjoy unforgettable excursions like hidden beach visits, lava tube and waterfall explorations, kayaking and snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay, and stargazing atop Mauna Kea. Additionally, Camp Manitou introduces Family Day Adventures, offering families and adults alike the chance to bond over custom-designed, full-day outings exploring the island’s highlights.
Deepening Connections with Hawaiian Traditions
The Kaupulehu Cultural Center at the Resort invites guests to immerse themselves in Hawaiian culture with a suite of entertaining, educational programs suitable for families.
