Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has introduced a new series of fly-cruise voyages, providing guests with a compact yet comprehensive cruise experience in 2025.

Within the 2025/26 Worldwide programme, an assortment of cruises ranging from seven to 12 nights in the Mediterranean has been announced aboard the more intimate Balmoral ship.

Travelers will have the opportunity to explore destinations like the picturesque cliff-side villages of Cinque Terre and Amalfi, the stunning Bay of Kotor, and the captivating Greek islands. These journeys are thoughtfully designed to offer increased opportunities for guests to delve into the local culture, featuring activities such as Flamenco dancing, Greek dancing, and experiences at Turkish baths.

Martin Lister, Head of Itinerary Planning and Destination Experiences at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“Our expert Journey Planners have poured their passion into hand-crafting a programme that they are truly proud of.

“Our new range of shorter fly-cruise options to the Mediterranean offer a range of journeys to some of its most inspiring destinations, where guests can really maximise their time for exploring ashore and with the benefit of less sailing time than departing from the UK.

“Among the itineraries, guests will have chances to visit the captivating La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, cruise along the spectacular Makarska Riviera in Croatia, see the stunning Hagia Sophia mosque in Istanbul and witness the whitewashed dome houses in Santorini.”

Aboard the ship, guests will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of exclusive activities, including tastings of genuine local delicacies from the places they will be visiting, like Jerez sherry, limoncello, and Turkish tea.

Those booking their trips can benefit from special introductory offers. These include up to £20 per person, per night to use onboard on select cruises lasting between five and 13 nights; for cruises of 14 to 28 nights, the options are either up to £20 credit per person, per night or complimentary door-to-door transfers for up to 200 miles on the mainland.
