Frontier Airlines Launches New Direct Flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Atlanta Starting August 13

Frontier Airlines, listed on NASDAQ under the ticker ULCC, will launch daily direct flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) starting August 13, 2024. Simultaneously, the airline will initiate daily nonstop flights from JFK to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS). To mark these launches, Frontier, recognized as America’s Greenest Airline, is offering promotional fares starting at $29.

“We’re thrilled to announce this new service at JFK, offering area consumers affordable and convenient travel to Atlanta and beyond,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines. “With ‘The New Frontier,’ consumers can easily see upfront when making a reservation what’s included in the fare and the exceptional value offered by flying Frontier.”

The airline has also rolled out significant enhancements to its service offerings, branding this upgrade as ‘The New Frontier’. This initiative focuses on enhanced value and an improved passenger experience, featuring clear upfront pricing and a variety of options catering to different budgets and preferences. Frontier’s new policies include no fees for changes or cancellations, a ‘For Less’ Price Guarantee, extended credit for future flights, and more, setting a new standard in customer satisfaction and affordability.

Additionally, Frontier has introduced UpFront Plus, an elevated seating choice that offers additional space and comfort in the first two rows of the plane, ensuring passengers either a window or an aisle seat with more legroom and a guaranteed unoccupied middle seat.

The airline has also revamped its frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles, promising ‘More for Less’. This program rewards customers more quickly and generously, offering miles based on spending with a basic rate of 10 miles per dollar, which can increase to 20 miles per dollar at higher membership tiers. Benefits for elite members include priority boarding, complimentary seat selection, and waived fees for changes or cancellations made at least a week in advance, along with complimentary baggage at certain tiers. The program is designed to be family-friendly, allowing families to pool miles and share the benefits.
