Gary Barlow joins P&O Cruises for exclusive charity performances at sea

P&O Cruises has revealed the 2024 schedule for two charitable concerts featuring renowned British singer-songwriter, Gary Barlow, on board the Iona cruise ship.

Following the overwhelming success of his shows in 2022 and 2023, Gary will once again grace the stage of the Headliners Theatre during two voyages departing from Southampton. The performances are scheduled for September 21, 2024 (G432) and October 5, 2024 (G433).

Guests eager to attend these remarkable performances can participate in a raffle onboard, purchasing tickets for £10 each. Every penny generated from ticket sales will be contributed to support the Teenage Cancer Trust and Child Bereavement UK.

Gary Barlow said: “I’m so proud to be P&O Cruises’ music director and I can’t wait to be back onboard Iona to put on two more nights of exclusive performances for guests. There’s something magical about sharing my passion for music with the guests onboard whilst fundraising for two incredible charities.”

Gary Barlow stands as one of Britain’s foremost songwriters and record producers, boasting a remarkable career. As a pivotal member of the pop phenomenon Take That, he has clinched eight BRIT Awards and achieved staggering record sales exceeding 45 million copies. Alongside his triumphs with the band, Gary has launched six solo albums, including the acclaimed Number 1 album, ‘Music Played By Humans’. In an unprecedented venture in 2022, Gary embarked on a highly praised solo stage show, ‘A Different Stage’, captivating audiences nationwide with his theatrical prowess.

Take That is set to embark on an extensive world tour this April, gracing sold-out venues across the UK and Europe before venturing to Australia and South Africa later in the year.

Gary’s innovative collaboration with P&O Cruises as the music director of The 710 Club on Arvia and Iona introduces an array of captivating performances tailored for British music enthusiasts. This exclusive late-night venue caters solely to adults, providing a platform for budding musicians to showcase their talents.

Gary Barlow’s performances on board are scheduled for the following voyages:

• Spain, Portugal, and Canary Islands (G432): Embark on a 14-night round-trip voyage from Southampton starting on September 21, 2024. Explore captivating destinations such as Madeira, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Seville (accessible from Cádiz), and Lisbon. Additionally, P&O Cruises Food Hero, José Pizarro, will be onboard to delight guests on G432.
• Spain & Portugal (G433): A 14-night round-trip voyage from Southampton starting on October 5, 2024. The itinerary includes stops at La Coruna, Vigo, Lisbon, Valencia, Barcelona, and Seville (accessible from Cádiz).

Raffle tickets for Gary’s exclusive performances can be purchased for £10 per person on board, with limited spaces available.
