In March, the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is set to dazzle food enthusiasts with a series of exceptional culinary events. Enjoy a masterful collaboration at Pelagos, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and indulge in Greek Easter traditions at Taverna 37, complemented by a sumptuous brunch at Mercato. This month promises a spectacular array of seasonal and cooperative dining experiences.

Pelagos

Experience a whirlwind of culinary excellence at Pelagos, known for its Michelin-starred innovation. The Friends of Pelagos series returns, featuring a collaboration with French chef Emmanuel Renaut and Chef de Cuisine George Dospras from Lauda at Andronis Boutique Hotel, Santorini, on March 26 and 27, 2024.

Chef Emmanuel Renaut, a recipient of three Michelin stars and the Meilleur Ouvrier de France title, joins forces with George Dospras and Pelagos’ own Michelin-starred Chef Luca Piscazzzi for an unforgettable Mediterranean-inspired menu. Priced at EUR 170 per person, this menu is a dynamic exchange of culinary creativity, blending Lauda’s interpretation of Santorini’s beauty with Pelagos’ Athens Riviera-inspired dishes.

Taverna 37

Celebrate the Greek Carnival season at Taverna 37 on March 7, 2024, with a festive feast curated by Chef Alexandros Koskinas. From noon until 11:00 pm, enjoy a variety of sharing dishes and grilled specialties for EUR 80 per person. On March 18, 2024, a family-style menu for Ash Monday features an array of appetizers, salads, and seafood for EUR 95 per person, while a special baccaliaro skordalia dish marks Greek Independence Day on March 25, 2024.

Mercato

To commemorate Ash Monday and the onset of Lent, Mercato is hosting an exquisite seafood brunch on March 18, 2024, priced at EUR 110 per individual. Guests can savor an array of seafood delights including premium de claire oysters, zesty seabass carpaccio, tantalizing octopus salad, luxurious spaghetti with lobster, traditional Easter soup, among other gourmet offerings, all while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Athens Riviera.
