Georgia 2024 hotel revamp: luxe retreats & historic gems await

Georgia upcoming array of new hotels in 2024 promises more than just a place to rest your head. From luxurious mountaintop golf resorts to historically restored mansions, here’s a glimpse of the diverse accommodations set to greet travelers in the Peach State.

In the heart of Atlanta, the grand Signia by Hilton Atlanta stands as the city’s largest downtown development in four decades, offering 976 rooms and direct access to the Georgia World Congress Center. Nestled next to renowned sports venues like Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena, this hotel boasts eight distinctive dining spots, a spa, fitness center, and over 100,000 square feet of meeting space, including Georgia’s largest hotel ballroom. Bookings are open for stays starting Jan. 15, 2024.

Fayetteville’s Trilith Guesthouse, part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, opens in January 2024 at the entrance of the European-styled Town at Trilith. Designed for creative collaboration, this boutique hotel features 193 rooms, apartment-style studios, a rooftop bar, and vast indoor/outdoor event spaces. Reservations are available from Feb. 1, 2024.

Nestled atop Lookout Mountain, the Cloudland at McLemore Resort, a Curio Collection by Hilton property, welcomes guests in February 2024 to its 245 rooms overlooking McLemore Cove and the Blue Ridge Mountains. With a golf course, spa, and ample event space, bookings commence for stays starting May 1, 2024.

Transforming Savannah’s historic Mansion on Forsyth Park, Hotel Bardo Savannah emerges in February 2024 as an urban resort offering 149 rooms, 66 suites, a lavish pool and pool bar, an Italian restaurant named Saint Bibiana, a wellness center, and a members-only social club. This resort, managed by LEFT LANE, opens bookings for Feb. 1, 2024, onwards, featuring elegant event spaces like the Carriage House and a sizable Ballroom.
