Global recognition for Cape Town Tourism members at the World Luxury Travel Awards 2023

In a remarkable display of excellence, several Cape Town Tourism members have triumphed at the World Luxury Travel Awards, further cementing the city’s status as a world-class travel destination.

NAC Helicopters soared above the competition to clinch the award for Helicopter Charter Company, while the thrill-seekers’ favourite, Jeep Tours Cape Town, secured the Adventure Tour Company accolade for the continent of Africa.

The aquatic wonders of the Two Oceans Aquarium took home the award in their category, alongside Juma Art Tours, which was recognized for its unique Art & Culture Experience. While the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden blossomed as the leading botanical garden, showcasing the diverse range of exceptional experiences Cape Town has to offer.

These prestigious accolades come as no surprise to those familiar with the remarkable offerings of Cape Town’s tourism sector.

Among the notable recipients is Jeep Tours Cape Town, a female-led adventure tourism company that has continued to shine following its previous win supported by the Cape Town Tourism Board Development Fund (BDF) in 2021.

Established in 2013, the Board Development Fund has provided financial assistance, networking opportunities, skills coaching, and marketing support to over 21 Cape Town SMMEs.
