‘Go Wild, Choose Estonia!’ – marketing concept revealed by Estonian Convention Bureau (ECB) and Visit Estonia at IBTM World trade fair in Barcelona to be held in Nov. 27-29, 2018. It will highlight the novelty of Estonia as a meetings destination as well as the many nature-related experiences available there.
Riine Tiigi, ECB Marketing Manager said that the ‘Go Wild’ slogan works on many levels. Estonia is relatively unknown in the meetings world, so it would be adventurous for planners to book Estonia. This campaign will motivate people to be adventurous.
Some of the country’s conference venues like the retro-industrial Tallinn Creative Hub and the Seaplane Harbour, fall into the ‘wild’ or unusual category.
Their slogan is “We also want to show that Estonians are not dead-serious people. We’re okay with making fun of ourselves.” Literally, 70 per cent of the country is covered in wilderness. The visitors with inclination towards nature can engage in popular activities like hiking, mushroom and berry picking, and swimming in forest lakes. Estonia’s ‘wild’ side opens up a wide array of activities from scenic nature walks to bogshoeing, kayaking, animal tracking and more.
At IBTM, visitors can know more about Go Wild with Estonia Happy Hour, taking place at the Estonia stand, D27, on Tuesday, Nov. 27th. There will be a prize draw for a trip to Estonia for two at the stands.
