Goa roadshows in four European countries

Tourism stakeholders said that the latestroadshows in four European countries turned to be successful. These roadshows were organized in association with the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), India chapter.

These shows witnessedhotels based in Goa, tour operators, travel agents and airlines along with a representative ofManohar International Airport at Mopa. The roadshows were held in Frankfurt, Vienna and Zurich, ending in Paris.

The event in Paris saw 12 merchants from India, who networked with more than 30 buyers. All attendees obtained a sight of Goa with the help of 360-degree video, which is a marketing device added few months before.

On the whole, the PATA India roadshowsbecame anenormousachievement, with the delegation from Goa gettingconstructiveresponse from trade associates and tourism investors across Europe. This was said byRuneepSangha, PATA India Executive Director, who was present at theseroadshows.

Sangha said that they showcased Goa moving awayfrom the beaches. The roadshows are also meanttocreateconsciousnessregarding Goa’s prospect as a round the year destination for tourists fromEurope.

The delegation took part in B2B conferences and efficientlyuphelddiverse tourism offerings, stated a tourism department representative. The official said that the roadshows are an excellent scope to reinforce trade relations between stakeholders in India and Europe. The official added that a positive interactionhappened by bringing out numerousfacets of Goa tourism that were not emphasized with comparablevitalityearlier.
