According to the latest reports published on the company’s blog, cruise port operator, Global Ports Holdings, has started working on several cruise terminus construction projects of which some has already been completed and some are middle way. GPH has been working on growing its global network of cruise terminals which has been augmented this year with the successful launch of terminals in Alicante, Fuerteventura, and Lanzarote.
Global Ports Holdings is also working on adding cruise GPH’s terminals in five more key areas: The Bahamas, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Lucia, Spain, and Puerto Rico. With an aim to continue supporting local economies, GPH is concentrating on elevating the standards of international cruise services which requires an investment of 250 million dollars in the mentioned areas.

In Nassau, one of the most popular cruise destinations in The Bahamas, GPH is investing in the West Marina Pool and a Superyacht Marina. The pool is expected to be completed by mid-October 2025, offering a luxurious space for cruise passengers and visitors. The Superyacht Marina, designed to accommodate mega yachts, is scheduled for completion by the end of the year, solidifying Nassau’s position as a premier cruise hub for both leisure travelers and the luxury yacht industry.
