Marriott Hotels, a prominent part of the Marriott Bonvoy collection comprising over 30 exceptional hotel brands, proudly announces the grand opening of Santo Domingo Marriott Hotel Piantini. This marks the flagship brand’s debut in the lively Dominican Republic metropolis, renowned for its captivating culture where tradition and modernity harmoniously coexist.

Nestled in the bustling financial and entertainment hub of Santo Domingo, the hotel enjoys proximity to upscale retail outlets, vibrant dining spots, and iconic attractions, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Colonial Zone and the National Botanical Garden.

Crafted by the esteemed Boris Pena Architects, Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo beautifully reflects the indigenous Taino heritage intertwined with the cosmopolitan essence of the city. Designed by Ares Arquitectos, the hotel’s unique aesthetic pays tribute to the island’s cultural richness and the city’s artistic flair. The contemporary design features striking geometric patterns, luxurious marble, opulent gold accents, and warm hues, creating an inviting ambiance across its public spaces, including the Greatroom lobby, restaurants, and bars.

Santo Domingo Marriott Hotel Piantini boasts 207 well-appointed guest rooms and suites offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. Each room exudes modern elegance with soothing natural tones, plush bedding, flat-screen TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

At the heart of the hotel lies Mo´orea, an all-day dining restaurant serving Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in a welcoming indoor setting. The Lobby Bar offers a refined atmosphere for guests to enjoy non-alcoholic beverages or indulge in post-dinner cocktails.
