Greg Mariotto joins AMEREK MRO Singapore as Director of Operations

Greg Mariotto has been appointed as the Director of Operations at AMETEK Singapore PTE. As part of his new role, Mariotto will be responsible to provide the best to all operational aspects for productivity, engineering, purchasing and quality. Mariotto has mentioned that he is delighted to be a part of AMETEK MRO and business systems like AS9110 to maintain the connectivity between business support functions and operations which will be helpful to the customers.

Mariotto gives extra emphasis on the development, implementation, use of lean manufacturing and developing protocols over the next 12 months.

According to Mariotto, his main target will be expanding operational MRO footprint and establishing new technical expertise capabilities in Singapore, a wheels and brakes facility for bizjets, commercial operators and A350 and gallery heaters. He also mentioned that local MRO support should be increased deeply to the customers so that they can feel safe, assured and cost-competitive service with shorter TATs.

AMETEK MRO Singapore, Vice President and General Manager David Corish said that Greg’s appointment explains their focus on modulating a highly skilled and experienced senior team. The goal is MRO facilities should be operated efficiently. Knowledge of the improvement process and visual factory principles of Greg will be productive to streamline their process, reduce throwback times and the satisfaction of customers will be utmost.

Mariotto joins the company with more than twenty years of experience in the MRO sector with Collins Aerospace and as an AS9100-AS9110 qualified trainer.
