A4A, the prominent U.S. airline trade organization, announced the appointment of Haley Gallagher as Vice President of Security and Facilitation. With a background at the U.S. Embassy in London as the Transportation Security Administration’s representative, Gallagher brings 15 years of experience in governmental agencies, specializing in security, international relations, outreach, engagement, and program implementation.
In her new role starting January 2024, Gallagher will lead A4A’s collaborative efforts on security and facilitation, working closely with member airlines to enhance priorities related to safe, secure, and efficient passenger and cargo transportation. Reporting to A4A’s Senior VP, CFOO Paul R. Archambeault, and indirectly to A4A President and CEO Nicholas E. Calio, Gallagher will oversee Aviation Security, Aviation Cyber Security, Cargo Services, and Passenger Facilitation.
Nicholas E. Calio, A4A President and CEO, expressed excitement about Gallagher’s addition, citing her 20 years of international and counterterrorism experience. Paul R. Archambeault highlighted Gallagher’s strong professional network, essential for building relationships with A4A’s members, industry stakeholders, and governmental agencies.
Gallagher, holding a Bachelor of Arts from Messiah College and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity, emphasizing her dedication to collaboration, coalition-building, and advancing security regulations.
