Hawaiian Airlines adds more summer flights

Hawaiian Airlines boosts summer flights to/from Honolulu, adding routes to Austin, Boston, Las Vegas, Pago Pago, and a 4th daily to Los Angeles.

Hawaiʻi’s premier airline, Hawaiian Airlines, is gearing up for a bustling summer season by expanding its flight services from Honolulu (HNL) to several destinations, including Austin (AUS), Boston (BOS), Las Vegas (LAS), and Pago Pago (PPG). Additionally, a new schedule will introduce a fourth daily flight from HNL to Los Angeles (LAX) starting May 24 and continuing until September 2.

Brent Overbeek, the airline’s Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, commented, “As people make their summer vacation plans to and from Hawaiʻi, they’ll find more flight choices and flexible timing. Our introduction of a fourth daily flight to LAX from HNL this year is a testament to the growing popularity of our services in the Southern California region.”

The expanded routes will be serviced by Hawaiian’s Airbus A330, and select LAX-HNL flights will feature the luxurious Boeing 787-9. Passengers can look forward to an authentic Hawaiian experience with gourmet meals from the airline’s Featured Chef Series, exclusive beverages from Kō Hana Rum and Maui Brewing Co., and local snacks from the Pau Hana cart. All transpacific journeys include complimentary entertainment with Hana Hou! TV, Hawaiian’s own selection of videos.

Key Additions to Summer Flight Schedule:

AUSTIN: An additional weekly flight on Fridays, bringing the total to four weekly flights | May 24 – Aug. 2.

BOSTON: An extra weekly flight on Thursdays, increasing the frequency to five weekly flights | May 23 – Aug. 1.

LAS VEGAS (HA5/6): Upgraded to daily service, a significant increase from four flights a week, with a total of three flights daily | May 24 – July 31.

LOS ANGELES: Introduction of a fourth daily flight | May 24 – Sept. 2.

PAGO PAGO: An additional weekly flight on Wednesdays, resulting in three weekly flights | May 22 – Sept. 4.
