Helvetic Airways soars Into summer 2024 with exciting flight releases from Zurich and Bern

The inaugural flights for Helvetic Airways’ summer 2024 season are now open for reservations. Once again, the Swiss regional airline is set to deliver exceptional services connecting Zurich and Bern to sought-after summer destinations. Notably, an exciting addition to this year’s offerings is a new weekly flight from Bern Airport to Djerba, Tunisia.

Bookings for the first Helvetic Airways summer 2024 flights are available on helvetic.com. Departing from Zurich, the airline is introducing non-stop flights to sunny destinations from February to June, featuring a Saturday flight to Hurghada. From April to October, Heraklion in Crete and Larnaca in Cyprus will benefit from Sunday non-stop services. Additionally, starting mid-July, a Saturday flight to Kos will operate until the end of October.

Innovatively expanding their services, Helvetic Airways now provides customers in and around Bern with non-stop flights to exquisite beach holiday destinations from June to mid-October 2024. Among the exciting additions is the introduction of a weekly Friday flight to Djerba, Tunisia. Greek islands continue to be a focal point for Bern, with Heraklion having twice-weekly Wednesday and Saturday services, offering more flexibility to vacationers. Kos and Rhodes will also be served weekly on Mondays and Sundays, respectively. Larnaca in Cyprus will receive a weekly Saturday flight in the Eastern Mediterranean. Completing the Bern summer schedule are twice-weekly flights to Mallorca on Thursdays and Sundays.

For the 2024 summer holiday season, Helvetic Airways plans to station one of its Embraer aircraft at Bern Airport, along with the corresponding cockpit and cabin personnel, and a dedicated maintenance team.
