Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, a renowned Michelin-starred restaurant, now presents a fresh Sunday lunch experience at Atlantis The Royal, from 12pm to 3pm. Priced at AED 495 for adults and AED 295 for children, guests can relish a three-course lunch highlighting a curated menu inspired by British tastes dating back to the 14th century. Alongside classic roasts, iconic dishes like the Tipsy Cake (c.1858) are also on offer.
In collaboration with food historians and drawing from the British Library’s resources, Sunday lunch at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal promises a blend of edible history and storytelling. Starters feature innovative creations like the Meat Fruit (c.1500), disguised as a Mandarin but crafted from chicken liver parfait, Tomato Salamagundy (c.1723), a reinterpretation of original salads, and Hay Smoked Salmon (c.1847) with smoked beetroot and parsley.
For the main course, guests can enjoy a traditional Sunday roast with options like Hereford Sirloin (c.1788) or Roast Chicken (c.1672) alongside vegetarian choices like Roast Cauliflower with Truffle Sauce (c.1661). Heston emphasizes the importance of perfectly cooked roast potatoes, employing long-established techniques to ensure a mouthwatering meal.
The dessert menu includes the iconic Tipsy Cake (c.1858) and other delights such as Lemon Tart (c.1747) and Bohemian Cake (c.1648). Special offerings for children include Salmon, Mini Roast, and the popular Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Trolley (c.1901).
Guests can complement their meals with a carefully curated wine selection by Head Sommelier Arturo Scamardella, named Sommelier of the Year in the Michelin Guide 2023 – Dubai. The restaurant also offers specially crafted cocktails and non-alcoholic options.
