The newly opened Hilton BNA Nashville Airport Terminal, a joint venture by Chartwell Hospitality and Rockbridge, is now welcoming guests. Nestled within Nashville’s burgeoning international airport, this contemporary hotel stands as a significant milestone in efforts to elevate the travel experience for both business and leisure visitors. Conveniently positioned adjacent to the terminal and linked by a sheltered pedestrian bridge, the 14-story Hilton BNA Nashville Airport Terminal boasts 298 rooms and serves as a focal point amid the airport’s extensive expansion endeavors.

The design of Hilton BNA Nashville Airport Terminal pays homage to the wonders of flight, featuring playful references to aviation throughout. The Gateway ballroom boasts a stunning lighting fixture reminiscent of planes streaking across the night sky, offering guests a visual journey through sweeping forms and luminous trails. Moreover, the hotel’s corridors and guest spaces come alive with an array of aviation-inspired art, adding to the sense of adventure.

The hotel, owned by a partnership between Chartwell and Rockbridge under a lease with the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, is operated by Chartwell, with construction financing provided by FirstBank. Crain Construction, Inc. of Nashville served as the project’s construction manager. Hilton BNA Nashville Airport Terminal builds upon Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ legacy in airport hospitality, which began with the opening of the first airport hotel, Hilton San Francisco, in 1959. The realization of this vision, adding to Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio of over 600 hotels across six continents, is the result of collaborative efforts involving Hilton, BNA, Rockbridge, and Chartwell Hospitality.The Hilton BNA Nashville Terminal signifies the 19th property that Chartwell has developed in collaboration with Hilton.

The establishment of Hilton BNA Nashville Airport Terminal, along with the hotel’s opening, is a pivotal aspect of the airport’s extensive construction and renovation program, known as BNA® Vision, which began in 2017.The completion of the hotel marks a significant milestone in the program. Notable recent achievements within BNA® Vision include the introduction of a new Concourse D, the refurbishment of Concourses B and C, enhancements to ticketing and baggage claim areas, the establishment of a new International Arrivals Facility (IAF), the creation of a grand lobby and marketplace, the expansion of the central security checkpoint, improvements to terminal garages, the addition of a free-standing satellite concourse, the introduction of 102 new dining and retail outlets, the construction of a new airport administrative building, the development of a plaza and pedestrian bridge, as well as improvements to terminal access roadways and expansions of airside aprons and taxi lanes.

The airport’s BNA identifier traces back to its inception in 1937 under its inaugural Airport Administrator, Colonel Harry S. Berry.
