A custom drone show will be staged during the event, creating visual patterns in the night sky. Visitors will be encouraged to wear space-themed holiday attire, although masks and face coverings will not be permitted. Parking will be included in the ticket rate. Seasonal retail items will be sold across the complex, with discounts available to annual passholders on food, beverages, and merchandise.
Holidays in Space will run from December 21 to 30, 2025, with the exception of December 25. Decorations will remain installed throughout the complex. A new Holidays in Space Drone Show Spectacular will premiere during this period. The production, created by Nova Sky Stories, will present 600 drones that follow Starflake, a celestial figure shaped from a meteor shower. The performance will include representations of NASA spacecraft, the International Space Station, a luminous cosmic tree, and a Santa astronaut. Premium viewing options will be offered on select nights, with availability announced through the visitor center website.
Travelers will also gain access to additional programming. A new live show, Fraggle Rock™: A Space-y Adventure, will debut on December 22 in the Universe Theater. A breakfast experience designed for families will be available at select times.
Dining convenience will be increased through the Holiday Dining Package. The package will be sold only in advance and will be offered from December 15–19 and December 22 through January 2. The price will be $39.99 per person, separate from admission. Travelers will receive one meal from Orbit Cafe, Moonrock Cafe, or Barbecue in the Chat With An Astronaut area. Menu options will include chicken tenders with fries, pizza, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, or veggie burgers. A refillable souvenir cup will be included, along with one snack and two additional snack or Space Dots selections. Guests may choose two snacks instead of Space Dots if preferred.
