Hong Kong Airlines Expands Now for Hiring Flight Attendants outside Hong Kong

To bolster its business expansion objectives, Hong Kong Airlines is actively seeking flight attendants through large-scale recruitment gatherings held in various regions. These events have attracted the attention of numerous job seekers keen to pursue careers in the aviation field.

Since 2023, Hong Kong Airlines has progressively introduced and reinstated a variety of domestic and regional routes, now serving 25 destinations. With plans to further expand its fleet and route network this year, the airline has intensified its recruitment endeavors, resuming significant events outside Hong Kong after a hiatus of several years. This presents an opportunity for international talent to apply in person.

In the previous year, Hong Kong Airlines initiated its inaugural recruitment drive in the Greater Bay Area and subsequently organized recruitment events in Osaka, Bangkok, and Taipei, respectively, towards the year’s end, garnering over two thousand applications. Eligible candidates were then invited for on-site interviews. The company anticipates hiring more than a hundred flight attendants from these regions. In addition to hosting recruitment events, the company continues to actively recruit, accepting job applications through its official website and encouraging individuals passionate about the aviation industry to apply.

Sally Lo Chi Yau, General Manager of Onboard Experience at Hong Kong Airlines, travelled to Taipei last week to conduct face-to-face interviews with local candidates. She remarked, “The flight attendants from Taiwan are known for their professionalism and dedication, particularly excelling in the provision of high-quality passenger service. Their proficiency in multiple languages enables them to effectively meet the needs of our passengers, especially international travellers who value interaction.”
