Hyatt Expands Upper-Midscale Portfolio in Alabama with Hyatt Studios Huntsville Offering Home-Like Suites, Flexible Workspaces, and Business-Friendly Amenities

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has officially unveiled Hyatt Studios Huntsville, marking a pivotal milestone in the expansion of its upper-midscale extended stay brand. The new property strengthens Hyatt’s ongoing collaboration with 3H Group, the same developer behind the first Hyatt Studios hotel, which debuted earlier this year in Mobile, Alabama. Hyatt Studios Huntsville introduces a contemporary approach to extended stay lodging in one of the Southeast’s fastest-growing urban hubs, offering studio-style suites designed for comfort, functionality, and modern living.

Hyatt Studios Huntsville is ideally situated in the heart of Alabama, just minutes from key employers, major aerospace and defense hubs, and Huntsville International Airport. The hotel provides effortless access to Redstone Arsenal, Cummings Research Park, and NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, while Downtown Huntsville offers a lively mix of shopping, dining, and cultural experiences. The Huntsville property offers 120 studio-style suites, each equipped with full kitchens featuring a refrigerator, built-in cooktop, microwave with convection and air-fryer options, dishwasher, and cookware essentials.

The hotel also features flexible meeting and event spaces, including a 623-square-foot meeting room accommodating up to 15 guests, with support for personalized event planning and nearby larger venues.

Hyatt’s Brand Expansion in the Southeast

Following the successful launch of Hyatt Studios Mobile / Tillmans Corner, 3H Group continues to expand its portfolio across Hyatt’s Essentials Portfolio in markets without an existing Hyatt presence. In 2026, the developer plans to introduce Caption by Hyatt in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the city’s first Hyatt hotel. Additional projects include dual-brand Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties in East Nashville, Tennessee, and a Hyatt Studios in Jacksonville, Florida. 3H Group recently acquired Hyatt Place Tampa Airport/Westshore, which has undergone a major renovation to align with the brand’s standards.

To celebrate its launch, Hyatt Studios Huntsville is offering 15% off standard rates for stays between December 1, 2025, and April 30, 2026, for reservations booked by January 16, 2026. As part of the World of Hyatt program, the property participates in the 500 Reasons to Stay promotion, allowing members to earn 500 Bonus Points per qualifying night through February 28, 2026.
